Samuelson picking it up quickly

Cory was finally able to get behind the wheel of his 360 on Saturday night for the first real quality laps of the season. With Opening night ending in a wild turn one flip only 10 laps not the main event due to an extremely rough track he hasn't had any time laps in the new 700 horsepower car. Saturday night didn't start out great as we were trying to hit the right set up and fuel mixture. When Cory went out for the B-Main we thought we might have figured out what he needed. We had the car tightened up and made adjustments some fuel adjustments. Cory started in the eight position but they were only taking three to the A-Main. Once the race got going you could see Cory was moving forward but in a ten lap B-Main it doesn't leave you much time. Cory's lap times were as good as anyone and he was the only car moving forward, he had moved into the fourth position and was closing on third. Driving the car into turn three harder every lap he was closing the gap and I thought third was possible but we came up one sport short. After the race Cory said if the guy in third made one mistake he was mine. Didn't make the A-Main but got some really good laps and a solid base line to move forward. We'll get them next Saturday.
